Feast & Frolic

The Feast & Frolic project presented us with the chance to develop a custom WordPress theme for a family of Cambridgeshire restaurants. The brief encompassed many elements of website design and development – from graphic design to online booking facilites and mailing lists, as well as menus which can be updated by the client and easily viewed by their customers.

The Story

Having been locals of The Willow Tree, the first in the Feast & Frolic family of restaurants, we had been aware of the unique charm and reputation that had been developing around this exciting business.

We were approached by the owners during the summer of 2017, who were looking for a streamlining of their web presence. They wanted us to create one central 4 page website for their three restaurants, as well as mailing lists and booking databases.

As the restaurants all offer unique menus and events, it was important to allow all restaurant pages on the site to show individuality and flexibility. This was achieved by using colour schemes that are prevalent in all of the restaurants, as well as providing space for the client to add imagery.

In Conclusion

We feel that we created a really strong brand website for the Feast and Frolic Family. The site offers the client a really interactive experience where they can add and remove menu items, events, images and wording. They can also bring in “special event” buttons and content to fit that. We’re really proud with how the project went, and for the experience it gave us!
