Rural Coffee Project

The Rural Coffee Project is a Cambridge based mobile coffee company. They approached us in 2016 when they first started trading, looking for a logo, colour scheme, website, business cards & menus. We really relished the chance to work with them, and feel proud to have developed their unique brand – as well as sample some superfine coffee!

The Story.

We met Hannah and Andy in 2016, when their idea of starting a mobile coffee business had developed as far as purchasing a beautiful classic Land Rover.

Using this as a basis, they asked us to develop a brand identity, showcasing rural community based values. They wanted a Logo, a Website, Business Cards and Menus, all following a recognisable and eye-catching theme.

Website

The aesthetic of the Rural Coffee Project and the beautiful Land Rover that they had now converted for business were so eye-catching and unique that we would’ve been foolish to not have it also be the centrepiece of their website.

Using selected imagery that we took for them, as well as photos from their social media, we designed a website with as much imagery as we reasonably could fit in, whilst also giving them space to write about their story and the history of their Land Rover. It remained rustic, bright and colloquial, which is something that we had been trying to achieve from the outset.

“When we sat down with Yowly to discuss our needs for a website and branding, we were blown away by their creative ideas and ability to create us a professional bespoke product which focuses on exactly what our customers want to see!”

Conclusion

Helping the Rural Coffee Project get their business off the ground was an opportunity that we really relished. We feel that we helped them to style their brand and website as a modern and forward thinking company, as well as keeping the “rustic” feeling which is true to their business ethos. They’re really lovely people, and we’d encourage anyone to try some of their delicious coffee!
